LingoTunes — Terms of Service

LingoTunes ("the App") is operated and published on behalf of Topics AI, LLC ("we", "us", "our"). Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the App. By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. The Service

1.1. What LingoTunes does: LingoTunes is a language-learning application that teaches languages through AI-generated songs with karaoke-style subtitles and instant translations. You choose a language, level, and topic, and the App presents songs and review activities built around them.

1.2. AI-generated content: Songs, lyrics, translations, and related learning material are produced using artificial-intelligence models. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies and should not be relied upon as professional, certified, or authoritative language instruction. You are responsible for verifying anything you rely on.

1.3. Eligibility: You must be old enough to consent to the processing of your data under the laws of your country (at least 16 in much of the EU/EEA, or the equivalent local minimum). If you are under the applicable age, you may use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

2. Your Account

2.1. Sign-in: The App uses passwordless, magic-link sign-in tied to your email address. You are responsible for keeping access to that email address secure and for activity that occurs under your account.

2.2. Acceptable use: You agree not to misuse the App — including attempting to disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it, access it through unauthorized means, or use it to infringe the rights of others.

3. Pricing

3.1. Free to use: LingoTunes is free to use. If we introduce paid features in the future, the applicable terms and pricing will be presented to you before any charge, and any purchase will be billed through your app store account in accordance with that store's terms. We will update these Terms to reflect any such changes.

4. Content and Intellectual Property

4.1. Our content: The App, its design, and the AI-generated learning material made available through it are provided for your personal, non-commercial learning use. You may not redistribute, resell, or publicly perform this content except as the App expressly allows (for example, sharing a song link).

4.2. Shared links: The App may let you share a link to a song (for example, lingotunes.app/song/{id}). By sharing such a link you make the referenced content accessible to anyone who has the link.

5. Third-Party Services

5.1. AI and infrastructure providers: To generate and deliver content the App relies on third-party providers, including AI model providers and cloud infrastructure used to host and operate the service. Your use of the App is also subject to the terms of the app store through which you obtained it.

6. Service Availability

6.1. No guarantees: The App is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and functionality may depend on external services and factors beyond our control. We may add, change, or discontinue features over time.

6.2. Reporting issues: Please report any problems you encounter so we can assist you. See Section 9.

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Topics AI, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App, or from reliance on AI-generated content. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Changes to These Terms

8.1. We may update these Terms from time to time. We will reflect the date of the latest version above, and your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
